He earned his diploma in graphic art at the Ion Andreescu Academy of Cluj (1980), and defended his DLA dissertation at the University of Pécs (2004). He lives and works in Oradea, and is a professor of the visual arts programme of the Partium Christian University. Selected prizes and distinctions: Munkácsy Prize, Order of Merit of the Republic of Hungary, Officer’s Cross. Recent solo exhibition: Magma Gallery, Sfântu Gheorghe (2015).
