He taught himself photography, and has been working for HVG since 2007. He has won 17 prizes at Hungarian Press Photography Competitions. In 2014 he was selected to take part at the Joop Swart Masterclass organized by World Press Photo. In 2015 he won a first prize at Pictures of the Year. His picture reports have appeared in the National Geographic, the New York Times, Spiegel, and Stern, among other newspapers.
