1950

He has been taking photographs since 1972. Between 1980–1986 he was a member of the Studio of Young Photographers, and then of the Hungarian Photographers’ Association, of whose board he sat on from 1983. He was a photographer with Hungarian Television between 1980–1999, and became head of the Photography Section in 1997. He has been a regular member of the Hungarian Academy of Art since 2013. Awards: Golden Camera Award (1991), Balogh Rudolf Prize (1994), Hungart Scholarship (2001), Hungarian Photography Grand Prize (2008). He has taken part at a great many group and solo exhibitions. His album: Test–Tér (Body – Space, 1994). His work has been discussed in two monographs (2007, 2009). His works can be found in prestigious collections in Hungary and abroad (Paris, Tokyo, Saint Petersburg, San Francisco).
